Steadio - Privacy Policy

Thank you for choosing Steadio.

We value your privacy highly. This Privacy Policy explains what information Steadio handles when you use the app. Steadio is an offline-first guide: all of its content is bundled inside the app, and it does not require an account.

1. Information collection

We do not collect personally identifiable information. Steadio does not send any data about you or your use of the app to us or to any third party.

• No account, sign-in or registration is required.
• No analytics, advertising or tracking software is included in the app.
• No contacts, location, photos, microphone or camera access is requested.
• No guide content, search queries or reading history is uploaded to our servers.

2. Data stored on your device

To work as you expect, Steadio keeps a small amount of information locally on your iPhone or iPad. This data never leaves your device through Steadio and is not accessible to us.

• The checklist steps you have ticked and the checklists you have saved.
• Your reading preferences, such as text size.
• A local copy of your unlock status, so purchased guides remain available offline.

You can remove ticked items and saved checklists at any time in Settings inside the app. Deleting the app removes all of this data from your device.

3. In-app purchase

Steadio is free to download and offers a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks all guides. Purchases, restores and Family Sharing are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details, name, Apple ID or email address. Apple's handling of this information is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Contacting us and feedback

The "Send feedback" option in the app opens your own email app with a pre-filled message addressed to our support address. The draft includes the Steadio version, your iOS version and device model to help us reproduce problems. You can review and edit the message before sending, and nothing is sent unless you choose to send it. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply to you and to improve the app.

5. Information sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade or share personal information with third parties, because we do not collect it.

6. Data security

Steadio is designed to avoid unnecessary data transmission. The information it stores remains on your device and is protected by the security features of iOS and your device passcode.

7. Children's privacy

Because Steadio does not collect personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Educational use

Steadio is an educational guide. It is not professional advice and does not replace a qualified tradesperson, doctor, lawyer or financial adviser.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
